Admissions

Admission to Beckside Pre-school is open to every family in the community and to families from surrounding areas when places are available. Parents of children wishing to be admitted to pre-school should complete a registration and enrolment form. When we are in receipt of these forms your child’s name will either be placed on a waiting list or, if appropriate, admitted straight away. A pre visit will be arranged for you and your child prior to starting Pre School. An open morning for parents and their child is also arranged before they start with us.

Children are eligible for 15 hours of funded pre school places the term after they become three. For example a child who has their third birthday in the February will be entitled to funding after Easter at the beginning of the summer term. A copy of our certificate of registration is displayed in the entrance hall. The Pre-school is also subject to inspection by an OFSTED inspector.  Beckside Pre-school is insured and a copy of the insurance certificate is also displayed on the notice board in the entrance hall. Our pre-school is registered on the Early Years Register and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Our current policies are also available to view in the entrance hall and online.
